Schalko's many years of dedicated service to our <br /> community by proclaiming October 14, 1992 as OR. ELDON M. <br /> SCHALKA DAY. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes except <br /> Councilman Anderson who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mayor Kinch presented the resolution to the Schalka Family. <br /> INTRODUCTIONS <br /> Ken Housden, Public Works Director, introduced two new <br /> employees. Paul Naftanski will be doing transit planning and <br /> Brent Anderson, a contract employee, will be working on <br /> transportation issues. <br /> Councilman Overstreet asked who would be taking Steven <br /> chittenden's position on the Centennial Commission. Mayor <br /> Kinch answered that Randy Tomaras has been contracted. <br /> Councilman Moser reported that the EIS for the regional trAnsit <br /> system is being issued. There will be two meetings for public <br /> input. November 7th at Edmonds Commity College, 4-7 p.m.; <br /> and November 12th at the Everett Pacific Hotel, 4-7 p.m. he <br /> explained that they have worked long and hard at rletting <br /> Everett recognized and inelUded in the rail system. <br /> C) <br />
