February 16,2000 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 7:00 <br /> p.m.,February 16,2100,N the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Campbell presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Hansen and Cauncilmembers Anderson,Simpson,Warnock,Gipson,Campbell, <br /> and Pope were present.Councilmember Overstreet was excused. <br /> Camcilmernber Simpson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The approval of the February 9,2000 City Council mating minutes were tabled <br /> until February 23,2000 due to a request for clarification of wording regarding <br /> the plasmed development overlay nom. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Hansen reported that he attended AWC meetings in Olympia on <br /> Wednesday and Thursday. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Councilmetnber Simpson stated that he attended a benefit auction at the Nary <br /> Common sponsored by the Snohomish County lar Association. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Mark Spire requested an executive session regarding one real <br /> emate matter and three litigation mattersThe session <br /> is <br /> expected to last <br /> approximately 15 minutes with no anticipated ammuacenemto follow. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> Robert Emery,2227 Grand Avenue,expressed concern regarding the Port of <br /> Everett's plan to build an overpass where Maggie's Park is now located. <br />
