MxM1 g,3opp <br /> The regulm meeting of the Everest City Council was called to order at 8,30 <br /> a.m.,March 8,2000,in i.e City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Campbell presiding.Upon roll call it was found that Mayor Hansen <br /> and Councilmemben Anderson.Simpson,Warnock,Gipson,Campbell,Pope <br /> and Overstreet were present. <br /> Councilmember Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the March I,3000 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed.Councilmember Anderson abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> REPORT <br /> Clair Olivers,Utilities,stated that letters are being sent to City residents whose <br /> properties are adjacent to Swamp Creek announcing that them are elevated <br /> bacteria counts iv the creek. letters have also been sent to officials from <br /> Snohomish County and other dowmueam cities warning then,of possible <br /> Mayor Hansen reported Mat he attended an Economic Development Council <br /> Conference on high-tech recruiting and that he will be attending a Regional <br /> Water Planning Conference this afternoon. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Councilnembers Warnock and Gipson stated that they attended the Everett <br /> Cultural Commission's Scholastic Writing Awards. <br /> Couuilmember Warnock reported that he attended the opening night of Ante <br /> Frank at the Everett Performing Arts Cedar. <br />
