March 29,2000 <br /> asked the Council to talk to legislators regarding the loss of public health <br /> Ponding due to 1-695. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Counotheember Warnock reported that he and Courcilmembere Simpson and <br /> Overstreet attended the Cities and Towns Meeting last week where Clair Olivers <br /> and his staff did a great job presenting a water conservation report. <br /> Courcilmember Overstreet informed the City Council that the Governor has <br /> signed the fiscal notes legislation that the City of Everett,as well ass number <br /> of other cities and counties,have worked on.It will be very important for local <br /> government in the years to come.It will force the legislature to take more time <br /> in determining what the fiscal impacts will be regarding proposed legislation,as <br /> well as amendments to legislation. <br /> Counciloember Simpson thanked Clair Olivers for his presentation Sr One Cities <br /> and Towns meeting and the city of Marysville 40 being the host. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Mark Soirme,City Attorney,requested an executive session following Council <br /> Comments regarding a litigation matter to last ten minutes.He also requested <br /> an executive session at the conclusion of today's meeting regarding a real estate <br /> matter and nvo litigation matters to last approximately thirty minutes with Sc <br /> anticipated announcements. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Brent McKinley,7610 Tyee Road,brought forth a concern regarding the City's <br /> code on parking motor homes on private property.He requested that the code <br /> be revisited and that an allowance be mede for mitigating circumstances. <br />
