March 29,2000 <br /> PURCHASE-MOWERS <br /> Moved by Coundhnember Pope,seconded by Councilmember Anderson to <br /> authorize the purchase of two additional mowers from Bid 1999-257, <br /> awarded to Western Equipment,Kent,at their bid price of$31,283.32 <br /> secluding Washington State Sales Tax. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmembers voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> PURCHASE-AID/MEDIC VEHICLES <br /> Moved by Cmorrilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilorember <br /> Warnock to authorize the purchase of two new Aid/Medic vehicles through <br /> the ioterlacel cooperative purchasing agreement with the City of Lynnwood <br /> for the amount of$301,398.90. <br /> One unit b a replacement of a 1989 Ford ambulance and the other is an addidoo <br /> ode fleet in accordance with die approved vehicle replacement plan. <br /> The City of Lymtwood awarded a bid to H&W Emergency Vehicles, <br /> Marysville.WA,for medic vehicles. Lynnwood's bid award meek Everett's <br /> needs as well.Additionally,ordering from Lynnwood's bid award will result in <br /> a significantly earlier delivery date than the City could expect if the City were <br /> to solicit bids of its own. <br /> The City executed a blanket interlocal cooperative purchasing agrsmem with <br /> tho City of Lynnwood that allows it to make purchases from Lynnwood's <br /> competitively awarded contracts in lieu of soliciting bids of its own. <br /> Roll was called with 00 cousihoembers voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 131 <br />
