January 5,2000 <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett has a desire to work with citizens around <br /> Everett in unincorporated Snohomish County to become pan of the City of <br /> Everett:and <br /> WHEREAS,the area proposed for annexation is within the Urban Growth <br /> Boundary established by Snohomish County; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> I.The City of Everett wishes to accept the Io percent petition for the proposed <br /> annexation and authorize the signature collection for the 75 percent petition. <br /> 2.The City of Everett will require the simultaneous implementation of the <br /> Comprehensive Plan designation by adoption of the zoning for the <br /> annexation area. <br /> 3.The City of Everett will requite the assumption of this annexation's portion <br /> of existing City indebtedness. <br /> Roll w called with all members voting yes except Courwilmember <br /> Overstreet =nonmembers <br /> who was excused. <br /> Moon carried. <br /> AGREEMENT-VESSEL REGISTRATION FEES <br /> Moved by CouneWnember Warnonoch,seconded by Counrilmembvr <br /> Gipson to authorize the Mayor to sign the vessel registration fee agreement <br /> with Snohomish County. <br /> This contract is a continuation of a distribution agreement benvcen Snohomish <br /> County and the City of Everett of vessel registration f collected by the <br /> Washington State Department of Licensing that has been in place since 1991. <br /> The distribution percentages*re bud on the proportion of total area of water <br /> served,population ratios,enforcement hours,marine citdons issued,number <br />
