January 19,3000 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at'IAO <br /> p.m.,January 19,2000,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Campbell presiding.Upon roll call it was found that Councilmembera <br /> Simpson,Warnock,Campbell,and Overstreet were present. Mayor Hamm <br /> and Cauncilmembeee Anderson,Gipson and Pape were excused. <br /> Councilmember Simpson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the January 12,2000 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Councilmecber Warnock reasoned that he,Coancimmbm Simpson and <br /> CounciNwmber Gipson attended a Martin Luther King concert as Hawthorne <br /> Elementary School. <br /> Councilmember Simpson stated that he attended the Martin Luther King <br /> celebration at the Methodist Church on Sunday. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Aaorney Mark Soine requested antioregarding two <br /> litigationmatters and aa real es a Thesession is expmed to last <br /> approximately 30 minuet with no anticipated announcement to fo0ow. <br /> (=TENS COMMENTS <br /> Michele Hoverter,5502 S.2^,spoke regarding the red for open space in the <br /> City of Evmn. <br />
