April 5,2000 <br /> Engineers for the noise study at Silver Lake Elementary School and the <br /> design of two fishing/viewing piers on Silver Lake. <br /> The noise study is needed for the negotiations of project impacts with the <br /> Stereo School District.The two docks are a shoreline requirement to improve <br /> public access to Silver lake. <br /> Roll was called with all coureilmembers voting yes except Councilmmbers <br /> Campbell,Pope and Overstreet who were excused. <br /> Motion sand. <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL GRANT-2000 COPS UNIVERSAL WILING PROGRAM <br /> Moved by Couodlmentner Anderson, seconded by Councilmember <br /> Warnock to authorize the Mayor to sign the 2000 COPS Universal®rbtg <br /> Program supplemental grant application to be used for the payment of two <br /> (2)new police officers. <br /> This supplemental award emends the grant to November 30,2002. The total <br /> amount of the awed will be 5150,00.00. <br /> Councilmember Gipson questioned whin the City's share will be for the two <br /> new officers. <br /> Jim Couture,Police,stated that the City's share will be 525,995,544,040,and <br /> 551,474,respectively,for the first,second and third year.The City will pay <br /> their maize wages beginning in the fours year. <br /> Roll was called with all cauncilmembere voting yea except Couneihnembers <br /> Campbell,Pope and Overareet who were excused. <br /> Modon carried. <br />
