• <br />• <br /> April 26,2000 <br /> RESOLUTION-2500 SUMMIT AVENUE <br /> Moved by Cosumilmember Anderson, seconded by Ceuncttmembcr <br /> Overstreet to adopt Resolution No.4897 confirming the expenses incurred <br /> by the City of Everett while performing abatements of violations,and <br /> authorizing placement of a lien in the amount of$1,87430 against the <br /> Property located in the 2500 Block of Summit Avenue,also known as <br /> Snohomish County Tax Parcel No.5168 580 007 0001. <br /> Councdmember Simpson questioned if the City has diligently attempted to bring <br /> forth compliance. <br /> Bud Wessman,Code Compliance,stated that the owner has been contacted and <br /> is aware of the problem. <br /> Resolution No.48971s as follows: <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett Department of Code Compliance performed <br /> inspections at the property located in the 2500 Block of Summit Avenue, <br /> Snohomish County Tax Parcel No.5168 580 007 0001 1602("the subject <br /> Property")and found that conditions voided that were in violation of the Everett <br /> Municipal Code;and <br /> WHEREAS,the Property owner of record was duly notified of these conditions, <br /> was given the opportunity to correct 0:conditions,and had adequate notice of <br /> opportunities to appear at a hearing to appeal the City's allegations;and <br /> WHEREAS,the property owner failed m correct the violations;and <br /> WHEREAS,following a public hearing,the violations hearing examiner <br /> authorized the City to undenxke and complete abatement of the violations at the <br /> full expense of the property owner if the property owner failed to abate them <br /> himself;and <br /> WHEREAS,the City did incur expenses in completing abatement of said <br /> violations at the subject property;and <br /> 169 <br />
