May 3,2000 <br /> Roll was called with all wuwilmembers voting yes except Councilmember <br /> Overstreet who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Cwrcilnembers Anderson and Warnock dunked Ralph Mackey,Howard Shehi <br /> and all of the volunteers at the Senior Center for their hard work. <br /> Caincilmember Gipson reported that he attended the dedication of Cogswell <br /> College's PEED Hall and the firefighter's retimrcnt dimer. <br /> Councilmember Simpson stated that he attended Me dedication of PEED Hall; <br /> the AFL-CIO Community Services Banquet;the Workers Memorial Day <br /> Remembrance Ceremony;and the Everett Firefighters Rethvmul/Rxcagnitian <br /> Banquet. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Sole requested an executive session regarding two litigation <br /> maters and one real estate matter. The session is expected to last <br /> approximately one hole with no anticipated announcemem m follow. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> Michele Hoverter,5502 S.r,expressed her concerns regarding the dumping <br /> of MI die at the Simpson site. She submittal several letters to the <br /> comoimembers regarding wetlands issues. <br /> Gail Chum,4601 S.4"Avenue,spoke regarding the testing of fill din being <br /> dumped at the Simpson site and the lack of communication between the City of <br /> Everett sod the Lowell Neighborhood Association. <br />
