Upon roll cell it was found that Mayor Hansen and <br /> Councilmembers Anderson,Simpson,Warnock,Gipson,Campbell,Pope and <br /> Overstreet were present. <br /> Councihnernber Overstreet led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the lune 7,2000 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed_ <br /> MAYOR <br /> REPORT <br /> Marian Krell,Office of Neighborhoods,gave a brief report on the recent <br /> cleanup at Clark Park and commended the neighbors who participated. <br /> Mayor Hansen distributed copies of a letter from Commutty Transit <br /> nceming the format of a proposed new Transit agency.He stated that he <br /> attended Snohomish County Council hearing on the County Executive's <br /> recommendation concerning future office and space needs and was pleased that <br /> the County Council approved the County Executive's recommendations. <br /> The Mayor read a letter horn the Washington State Library Commission stating <br /> that the Everett Library has been awarded$34,432.00 in"Connectivity 2000" <br /> gram foods Sold 000gremlamd Mak Nesse on the award. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Councih nember Overstreet commented that the Snohomish Health District les <br /> published a newly formatted pamphlet,"Everett Smelter Site Advisory 20007, <br /> for distribution to the public. He introduced Mile Young,Environmental <br /> Health Specialist,Snohomish Health District,to answer any questions. <br />
