Upon roll call it was found that Mayor Heinen <br /> and Councllmembers Anderson,Simpson.Warnock.Gipson.and Overstreet <br /> were present.Cmmilmembers Campbell and Pope were excused. <br /> Ca el!member Anderson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the lune 14,2000 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> primed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> OATH <br /> Police Chief Scharf introduced Robert M.Martinez,a new police officer. <br /> Moved by Councilmember Gipson,seconded by Councllmember Warnock <br /> to concur with the appointment of Robert M.Martinez as police officer. <br /> Roll was called with all mumilmembers voting yes except Cmmitembers <br /> Campbell and Pope who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Officer Martin¢was administered the oath of office by the Deputy City Clerk li <br /> and Mayor Hansen presented his badge. <br /> Chief Scharf announced that the Evert Police Deparmwm Nanmtirs Unit <br /> received an award,"Narcotics Unit of Ne Year for 1999",from the Western <br /> States Information Ne.work. <br /> 257 <br />
