July 19,2000 <br /> The regular meeting of she Everett City Council was called to order at 7:00 <br /> p.m..July 19,2000 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Campbell presiding.Upon roll call it was found that Mayor Hansen <br /> and Councilmembers Anderson,Simpson,Warnock,Gipson.Campbell,nod <br /> Pope were present.Councilmember Overset was exaaal. <br /> Cauncilrlmber Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the July 12.2000 City Council meeting were approved at <br /> priored.Councilmember Anderson abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> OATH <br /> Chief Scharf introduced Dean A.Ramirez,a new reserve police officer. <br /> Moved by Conncllmember Gipson,seconded by Councilmembee Warnock <br /> to concur with the appoinbnenl of Dean A.Ramirez as reserve police <br /> officer. <br /> Roll was telled with all councilmembers voting yes except Councihnember <br /> Overstreet who was excusal. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Officer Ramirez was administered the oath of office by the Deputy City Chert <br /> PROCLAMATION <br />• <br /> Mayor Hansen proclaimed July 21 aed 22,2000 as"Relay for Life Days"to <br /> celebrate hope for cancer survivors. <br /> 310 <br />
