September I3,T000 <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Everett City Council finds that <br /> the request ofths college has merit and hereby authorizes the Mayor of the City of <br /> Everett to take the necessary steps to mat the request of the college using funds <br /> budgeted for economic development purposes,in an amount not to exceed ten <br /> thousand dollars. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmembers voting yob <br /> Marlon carried. <br /> AGREEMENT-MORIBUND EVERETT SEWER PROJECT <br /> Moved by Counellmember Simpson,seconded by Counctmembe.Anderson <br /> to authorize the Mayor to sign a professional seetees agreement with Perteet <br /> Engineering,Inc.to the amount of 5135,000.00 for Inspection Resistance o0 <br /> the Northend Everett Sewer project. <br /> Roll was called with all couacilmembers voting yes. <br /> Motion neried. <br /> RESOLUTION-LIBRARY SERVICES TECHNOLOGY ACE GRANT <br /> APPLICATION <br /> Moved by Councilman er Anderson, seconded by Cauaelimember <br /> Warnock to adapt Resolution No.4954 supporting a Library Services and <br /> Technology Act Connectivity 2000 Plus grant application for the technology <br /> to provide enhanced Internet and database access for the residents of <br /> Everett. <br /> Couocilmember Simpson requested an overview of the new technology being <br /> brought to the Library.Mark Nesse,Library,explained that the grant will be <br /> used to purchase upgraded computers to expand the Library's Internet sarica. <br /> 403 <br />
