October 25,2000 <br /> L.P.extending the existing lease term for apace in the Monte Crista Hotel <br /> through May 31,2002 In the amount of 565,000.00. <br /> le 1999 the City Council approved a lease addendum with the Monte Cristo <br /> Partners,L.P..for the lease of space at the Monte Cristo Hotel located at 1307 <br /> Wall Street.The existing lease term expires on May 31.2001. <br /> Councilmember Anderson stated that this item has come before the Budget and <br /> the Real Estate Committees with a recommendation for approval. <br /> Councimember Overstreet questioned whether them has been any diacussioe <br /> regarding what will happen at the nM of the lease period. Mayor Hansen <br /> commented that there is as additional one-year option which w01 mnmue the <br /> lease to May 31.2003. <br /> Roll was caned with all councilmembeee voting yes except Couacilmember Pope <br /> who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AGREEMENT—GROWTH MAHAGBMENT ACT URBAN LIVABILITY <br /> GRANT <br /> Moved by Coundmember Warnock, seconded by Couneilmaber <br /> Overstreet to authorize the Mayor to sign an agreement with the State of <br /> Washington fora Growth Management Act Urban Livability Grant W the <br /> amount of 550,000.00. <br /> The fiords from this(pant will be used to establish daiga guidelines for <br /> development that will support pedestrian and transit-oriented use of Broadway <br /> Avenue. <br /> Cooenilmember Warnock questioned whether there will be a coordination of <br /> these guidelines with the tramit_oriehted development guidelines for the Everett <br /> Station.Paul Roberts,Pluming,stated that Were would. <br />
