January 3,2001 <br /> C0000iImember Anderson left the Council Chambers. <br /> Couocilmmber Campbell arrived. <br /> SPECIAL PROPERTY USE PERMIT—FOOD SERVICES OF AMERICA <br /> Jim Ilea,Assistant City Attorney,stated Nm President Simpson received a lacer <br /> from Food Services of America requesting that this item be tabled to March 14, <br /> 2001 to enable them to go back U the neighborhood and work out some of the <br /> issues that have been raised. Also,pursuant to Coumilmember Overstreet's <br /> request,staff has prepared proposed findings that would support a denial of the <br /> application. <br /> Councilirwmber Gipson questioned whether this is the first time that Food <br /> Services of Americo has approached he neighborhoods. lack McCullough, <br /> Food Services of America,stated that they have responded to questions during <br /> the Planning Commission meetings but tsar they have not aurally gone out into <br /> the neighborhoods. <br /> Councilmmher Overstreet rmmked that he could see no extenuating <br /> circumstances to warmer the action to be tabled. <br /> Councihombers Campbell and Gipson spoke iv support of tabling the item. <br /> Moved by Couucilmemher Campbell,seconded by Counulmmber Gipson <br /> to continue this item to the March 2S,2001 City Council meeting. <br /> Roll was called with all councimembers voting yes except Counalmembers <br /> Warnock,Pope and Overstreet who voted no and Councilmember Anderson <br /> who was excused. <br /> Motion defeated. <br /> Moved by Couucilmember Gipson,seconded by Councilmember Campbell <br /> to continue this item to the March 21,2001 City Council meeting. <br />
