March 2,2001 RESOLUTION—SPECIAL EVENTS CENTER Moved by Couucilmember Overstreet,seconded by Colladmember Warnock to adopt Resolution No.5019 accepting the report of the Speslal Events Center Feasibility Committee as follows: WHEREAS,the City of Everett has engaged the firm of Brailsford&Dunlavtym conduct a study oo the feasikility of the creation of a special events center by a public Facilities district which can be created by the City, WHEREAS,the City of Everett on January 20,2001 appointed a citizen's mmidee to evaluate ON Brailsford&Dadavey feasibility report chaired by Rich Anderson and Whose members were Joanne Burkett,Bob Dickson,Albs Funk,Tom Gaffney,Arlan Hatt«,Steve foetda,Sanford Kinzer,Frank McCord, Gay Meisner,Jessica Pavia],Karen Shaw,Posy Sievers,Craig Skotdahl,and Brenda Stonecipher; WHEREAS,the committee reviewed and critiqued the Brailsford&Dustavty feasibility study in the course of mm mea0ngs having heard presentations from Chris Duolavey,President of Brailsford&Dunlavey,city staff including Don Hale and Lade McMullin and obtained additional input from various industry WHEREAS,the committee has produced a written report dated Mach 5,2001 of its findings and conclusions nod has presented it to the Mayor and City Council; NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,that the City Council of the City of Everett accepts the report of the citizens committee on the special events cast feasibility and dunks.each and every member for their participation in the activities of the committee. Roll was called with all couvc0members voting yes except Councilmem]er Campbell who was excused Motion carried.
