_I <br /> April 4,2001 <br /> WHEREAS,the moos of the members of the public facilities district board of <br /> directors should be based on the calendar year so that all tons will expire at the <br /> and of each calendar year, <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF EVERETT: <br /> Section 1:The members of the board of directors of the Everett Public Facitides <br /> District are hereby appointed as follows for the tame as indicated: <br /> 1.One year tam:Karen Shaw; <br /> 2.Two year term:Ed Hansen; <br /> 3.Three year tam:Allan Dan; <br /> 4.Four year tam:Richard Anderson; <br /> 5.Four year tam:Earl Dutton <br /> Section T Each term shall end on midnight of December 31 ofdee last year of the <br /> tamofthe year(s)for which the board member is appointed. <br /> SaOon 3:The appointment of these members of the Everett Public Pacilities <br /> District is effective as of the date of the passage of this resolution. <br /> Section 4:robin tame shall be for periods of four years or the remainder of on <br /> unexpired four year ton,whichever maybe applicable so there will always beat <br /> lust one tam expiring on December 31 of each year. <br /> Roll was called with all coomilmembes voting yes. <br /> Mourn carried. <br /> Coocilmember Overstreet quariored what the state statute says regarding <br /> reappointments to the board. <br /> Mayor Hansen stated that he attended a meeting in Seattle on Monday with <br /> embers of the Governor's Blue Ribbon Transportation Commission to discuss <br /> transportation funding and he win be Mending a mating with Community <br /> Transit this afternoon. <br />
