May 23,2001 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 a.m., <br /> May 23,2001 in the City Cowen Chambers of the Everett City Hall,President <br /> Simpson presiding.Upon roll call it was found that Councilrnembers Anderson, <br /> Simpson,Warnock,Gipson,Campbell,and Pope were present Mayor Hansen <br /> and Councilmember Overshoot were excused. • <br /> Jordan Woods,Everett High School student,led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minute of the May 16,2001 City Council meeting were approved as printed. <br /> Couneihnemb«a Anderson and Campbell abstained Rom the vote. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Coundlmemba Anderson repotted that he attended the National league of <br /> Cities'Public Safety ed Cruse Prevention meeting this past week. <br /> Ccummdlea tuber Warnock sated that ha Mended the Children's Museum •• <br /> Breakfast of Champions. He remarked that 27,700 people went through the <br /> museum last year. <br /> PRESIDENT <br /> President Simpson reminded everyone of the groundbreaking ceremonies <br /> scheduled for 11:00 a.m.today at Wiggins Pak <br /> EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES PROGRAM <br /> Deputy Chief Jack Robinson gave a brief history of the Emergency Medical <br /> Sacks program and the Everett Medic One Foundation. <br /> Fire Chief Gordon stated that the Everett Fire Department and the Medic One <br /> Foundation have formed a partnership with the Everett Public School District.He <br /> introduced Cheryl Drewel,Cueialurn Specialist-Health,who explained that this <br /> partnership will provide CPR/AED(Automatic External Defibrillator)training to <br /> all middle and high school students.Three Everett High School student,Jordan <br />
