Tuve 27,2001 RESOLUTION—ABATEMENT/1617 OAKES Moved by Councilmember Campbell, seconded by Couacilmomber Overstreet to adopt Resolution No.3067 confirming expenses Incurred by the City of Everett while performing abatement of violations,and nathorlathg placement of a lien in the amount of$640.79 against Om property known as 1617 Oakes Avenue,parcel number 4382 337 007 00 09 as follows: WHEREAS,the City of Everett Department of Code Compliance performed inspections at 1617 Oakes Avenue flirt subject properly"),the legal description of which is as follows: BVERBTT DIV N PLAT OF BLK337 D-0O—LOTS 7-8-9 and found that conditions existed that were in violation of the Everett Municipal Cade and WHEREAS,the property owner of record was duly notified of these conditions, was given the opportunity to coma the conditions,and bad adequate notice of oppommities to appear at hearings to appeal the City's allegations;and WHEREAS,the property owner failed to correct the violations;and WHEREAS,following a public hearing the violaaona hearing examiner authorized the City to undertake and complete abatement of the violations at the &I1 expense of the property owner if the property owner filed to abate them herself;and WHEREAS,the City did incur expenses in completing abatement of said violations at the subject property,and WHEREAS,notice of Comeii's cmmdemtion of this resolution was provided to the property owma of record; NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT that the expenses set forth in the report attached hereto is hereby confirmed for Me subject property. ne City Treasure is hereby authorized to certify the amount due and owing to the County Treasurer,which 243
