August 8,2001 <br /> Couneihaember AMermn stated that this item came before the Public Safety <br /> Committee with a mecommaWatioa for approval. <br /> Roll was called with ell councilmembers voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AGREEMENT—SNOHOMISH REGIONAL NARCOTICS TASK FORCE <br /> Moved by Cauucilmember Pope,seconded by Councilmember Warnock to <br /> authorise the May to sign an mterlocol agreement with the Snohomish <br /> Regional Narcotics Task Force and participating jurisdictions for the period <br /> ofJuty 3,2001 through June 30,2002 to establish a drug task force <br /> President Simpson requested an overview of this item.Deputy Police Chief Stiles <br /> stated that this is an annual agreement with Snohomish County and o0er <br /> municipal agencies to establish a drug task force.It provides matching funds to <br /> go with a federal grant which assists in finding the task force, <br /> Couacihnember Warnock stated that this item came before the Budget and <br /> Finance Committee with a recommendation for approval. Councimember <br /> Anderson remarked that it also came before the Public Safety Commitee. <br /> Roll was called with all ocuncihnmnbers voting yes. <br /> Motion sallied. <br /> AGREEMENT—POLICE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION <br /> Moved by Couneilmember Anderson,seconded by Counellmember Campbell <br /> to authorize the Mayor to sign the 2002-2000 labor agreement with the <br /> Everett Police Officere Association. <br /> 326 <br />
