• <br /> August 22,2001 <br /> REPORT—FOREST FIRES <br /> Waren Bums,Fire Marshall,reported that the Everett Fire Deportment was <br /> requested to send two wild lad firefighters and a three man structural team to <br /> Eastern Washington an August 16,2001 to fight the forest fires. They were <br /> replaced by five new personnel on August 20,2001.Two more replacements may <br /> be sent ata later date.The original ten are expected to mum home today or <br /> REPORT—TRAFFIC CONGESTION <br /> Larry Crawford,Executive Director,explained that the Mayor and City staff have <br /> continued to men with representatives from the Department of Transportation <br /> regarding traffic congestion resulting from the closure of northbound SR 529. <br /> The City has pursued their request for the reversible lane semative.
