August 22,2001 <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Soine requested an executive session regarding two potential <br /> litigation matters following the regular meeting.The session is expected to last <br /> approximately 20 minutes with no armauncemenl to follow. <br /> He reminded everyone that,due to Me upcoming campaign,itis not appropriate to <br /> make statements or comments regarding candidates. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENfg <br /> Gary Halle,3214 Rockefeller,stated that he has been doing research on the <br /> Everett Performing Arts Centro.He questioned why Louie McMullin is being <br /> paid$88,000 in salary from the theatre's budget since she been reassigned to <br /> Economic Development in Administration.Mayor Hansen stated that Rage's <br /> duties have changed but she still has primary responsibility for overseeing to <br /> Everett Performing Arts Center. <br /> Graham Anderson,Port of Cosine,announced that the Port is pleasing to conduct <br /> its second commmutywide public meeting regarding the North Musa Master <br /> Plan on September 18,2001 at the conference center on the waterfront. <br /> Doretta Runo,5515 25°Avenue W.,spoke in opposition to the helipad proposal <br /> being brought before the Hearing Examiner again.Mayen Hensen assured her that <br /> there is no intention of revisiting this issue. <br /> Gail Chun,4601 S.0,remarked that since the top of the Council agenda is not <br /> printed in the newspaper,she was not aware of the East Everett Park presentation. <br /> She suggested that a users guide be created for citizens explaining the difference <br /> between eonsent items,action items,resolutions,ordinance readings,em. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS <br /> Moved by Coacilmember Gipson,seconded by Canneilmember Overstreet <br /> to approve the following consent agenda items: <br /> 350 <br />
