OHO.-3,2001 <br /> special event appivatos to be tamed in at least three weeks prior to the event. <br /> The application is then muted to the various departments for Ihek approval and <br /> submitted to Administration to be included in the Council agenda before the event <br /> takes place. <br /> Cauncihnembe.r Overstreet questioned whether three weeks is typical of the <br /> applications which are received.Tam stated that it is not mum]butte City <br /> Clerk's office prefers to have them sooner to allow more time for processing. <br /> CountiMember Pope suggested that when the City knows an event is going to <br /> occur every year,it could be approved for three years ata time,or that the time <br /> limit for submittal could he extended to a month or more. <br /> Commilmernber Oversheet expressed concern that the consistency and timing on <br /> these applisa ions is not significant to allow the Police and Phe Departments to <br /> properly manage and sc u4nixe them. <br /> Cooncilmember Anderson stated that he is the liaison for the City Clerk's office <br /> and offered to work with them regarding this issue. <br /> Mayor Hansen commrn5M that these applications are distributed to City staff <br /> shortly after they are received by the City's Clerk's office,and if a1 issue or <br /> problem arises,itis dealt with before the item reaches the City Council. <br /> Roll was called with all cmmcilmembers voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> DECLARED SURPLUS <br /> Moved by Councilmember Pape,seconded by Couacilmember Warnock to <br /> declare luted vehicles and equipment to be surplus and 550050lxe their sale <br /> at a Public Auction to be conducted by James G.Murphy Ins,Auctioneers <br /> as follows: <br /> 1987 Chevrolet Speetrum JEIRR21)XIIS455S50 <br /> 427 <br />
