Ortolan 11.2001 <br /> City Attorney Some commented that Com Palma is an Administrative Assistant <br /> N the Legal Depmtrnent.She was named Legal Support Staff Professional of the <br /> Tear by tie Snohomish County Chapter of the National Association of Legal <br /> Senretarim.He commended her for her work at the City and in the community. <br /> President Simpson reminded everyone to be cautious while opening mail. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Some requested an executive session regarding three mal es <br /> matters,one peraornel matter and three litigation matters following the meeting. <br /> The session 10 expected to lest approximately one hour with no awouucement <br /> anticipated. <br /> Cff62N COMMENTS <br /> David Mascarenes,517 laurel Drive,commended the Police Department for their <br /> calm demeanor in light of the September ll,2001 terrorist events. <br /> fohn Mohr,Executive Director,Port of Everett,stated that as a result of the <br /> September 11,2001 events,there have been additional concerns regarding <br /> security at the Port's facilities.He remarked that following a Coast Gaud review <br /> of the facilities,they were found to be in excellent condition and met all of their <br /> security requirements. <br /> Mayor Hansen commented that the USS Lincoln will be returning to Everett this <br /> week and that new security precautions have been added in the harbor to insure ire <br /> safety. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA 17EMS <br /> Moved by Counegmember Anderson, seconded by Csuncilmembar <br /> Overstreet to approve the following consent agenda items: <br /> 441 <br />
