October 24,2001 <br /> Com oilmember Overstreet thanked the Maya and City staff for their efforts to <br /> keep the Council informed regarding the stoma of the Public Facilities Arena <br /> CounciMember Anderson read a resolution horn the National league of Cities' <br /> Public Safety and Crime Prevention Committee saluting the heroism of the first <br /> responders to the September 11,2001 terrorist attacks and calling an Congress to <br /> authorize and oversee a cabinet level agency to coordinate a national preparedness <br /> and response plan with all levels of government <br /> PRESIDENT <br /> President Simpson reported that he attended a Youth Parton at Everett High <br /> School sponsored by Snohomish County Executive Bob Drewell and I.I.Franks. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Some requested an ezeourive session regarding one litigation matter <br /> and two real estate matters following the meeting.The session is expected to last <br /> approximately 35 minutes with no anticipated aonom enmenito follow. <br /> Attorney Soine requested that the City Council authorize the Mayor to ex0nle an <br /> agreement with the Boeing Company to allow the Everest Pire Department access <br /> to Boeing property for training purposes. <br /> President Simpson anted that the couocilmembeee bad not received copies of the <br /> agreements to review. <br /> It was decided that copies would be distributed to the coimcihoembers and the <br /> item would he brought back for consideration at the mW of the meeMt <br /> CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS <br /> Moved by ConnrtMember Gipson,seconded by Councilmember Overstreet <br /> to adopt the fallowing consent agenda items: <br />
