January 23,2002 <br /> RESOLUTION-CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.5149 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett In the amount of <br /> $9,455,240.34 for the period of January 5,2002 through January 11, <br /> 2002. <br /> Roll was called vdA all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> GRANT APPLICATION-DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ENHANCED <br /> PROSECUTION <br /> Moved by Council Member Pope,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to authorize the Mayor to sign the necessary documents <br /> • <br /> to apply for additional grant funding from the United States <br /> Department of Justice,Violence Against Women Office. The <br /> documents Include the application for federal assistance, a <br /> Memorandum of Understanding relating to participation with the <br /> Snohomish County Center for Battered Women in the project,and <br /> other documents required as part of the grant application. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> GRANT APPLICATION-COMMUNITY PROSECUTION <br /> Mooed by Council Member Pope,seconded by Council Member <br /> Hatlee to authorize the Mayor or his designee to sign the necessary <br /> documents to apply for community prosecution grant funding in the <br /> amount of$75,000 from the United States Department of Justice, <br /> Bureau of Justice Assistance,fora twelve month period,to gather <br /> 28 <br />
