June 26,2002 <br /> the City of Everett to serve until the position of Mayor is tilled by the <br /> next municipal election which Is In November 2003. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Anderson who abstained from the vote. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER/PRESIDENT RESIGNATION <br /> City Council President Fronk Anderson requested that the City Council <br /> accept his resignatbn effective July 1,2002 from the Everett City Council <br /> Position No.1 and addi0onally his responalbiglles and duties as City <br /> Council President which also conclude as of this date. <br /> Moved by Council Member Campbell,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to accept Council President Anderson's resignation from <br /> the City Council effective 12:01 a.m.,July 1,2002 and nominate <br /> Council Member Halloo as City Council President effective 12:02 <br /> a.m.,July 1,2002 until midnight December 31,2002. <br /> Moved by Council Member Campbell,seconded by Council Member <br /> Olson to amend the motion so that Council Member Hatloe will be <br /> City Council President through December,2003. <br /> Roll was called on the amendment with all council members voting yes <br /> except Council Members Overstreet and Gipson who voted no and <br /> Council Member Anderson who abstained from the vote. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 190 <br />
