September 25,2002 <br /> APPOINTMENT—CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT <br /> Mayor Anderson asked for the city council's concurrence regarding the <br /> appoin ment of Larry Crawford as the city's Chief Administrative Assistant. <br /> CAA Longus'last work day will be September 30,2002. <br /> Moved by Council Member Overstreet seconded by Council Member <br /> Olson to approve the appointment of Larry Crawford as the City of <br /> Everett's acting Chief Administrative Assistant beginning October 1, <br /> 2002 until such time as Jim Lenges'employment with the City of <br /> Everett ends at which time Larry Crawford will automatically assume <br /> the position of full time Chief Administrative Assistant <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Krell end Hattoe who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> PROCLAMATION—EVERETT SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA MONTH <br /> Mayor Anderson proclaimed the month of October 2002 as Everett <br /> Symphony Orchestra Month. <br /> Mary Smeggeman accepted the proclamation on behalf of the Everett <br /> Symphony Orchestra.Also in attendance were board members,Katheryn <br /> Goforth,Deborah Wright and Shannon Hunter. <br /> APPOINTMENT—HOUSING AUTHORITY <br /> Mayor Andereon requested the City Council's concurrence regarding the <br /> reappointment of David Dorsey to the Housing Authority. <br /> Moved by Council Member Pope,seconded by Council Member <br /> Olson to concur with the reappointment of David Dorsey to Position <br /> No.5 of the Housing Authority fora five-year term beginning October <br /> 6,2002 and ending October 5,2007. <br /> 319 <br />
