September 25.2002 <br /> Council Member Gipson reported that he attended a Leadership <br /> Conference In North Carolina last week.He gained potential ideas for the <br /> City of Everetfa special events center. <br /> He requested regular updates regarding the special events center from <br /> the Public Facilities Disidct. <br /> Council Member Overstreet reported that he attended an outstanding <br /> event at the Everett Library. He acknowledged the talents of the library <br /> staff and specifically Margaret Riddle and David Oiigard. They have <br /> created an excellent Evened history section on the library's web site. <br /> Vice President Campbell announced that agenda item No.12,vacation of <br /> the alley in Block 623,will need to be continued to October 30.2002. <br /> Ha congratulated Larry Crawford and Bob Cooper on their new <br /> assignments. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Assistant City Attorney Jim Iles requested an executive session regarding <br /> a labor maser which will last fifteen minutes with no announcement <br /> following the session. <br /> He also thanked Jim Langus for his service to the city and congratulated <br /> Larry Crawford and Bob Cooper. <br /> THANK YOU <br /> Jim Langus thanked Mayor Anderson and the Everett City Council for the <br /> resolution end their support throughout the years. He recognized the <br /> many city employees as the city's greatest assets and thanked them for <br /> their service. He also thanked the citizens,businesses and families of <br /> Everett for their support. <br /> 321 <br />
