1 <br /> December 23,2002 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The City Clerk administered his oath of office and Mayor Anderson <br /> presented his badge. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> The city council members wished everyone happy holidays and extended <br /> appreciation to city staff members. <br /> Council Member Overstreet reported that he enjoyed the Winter Solstice <br /> Walk at Wiggums Hollow Park last week. <br /> Council Member Krell attended the USS Foster's welcoming ceremony <br /> last Friday. <br /> PRESIDENT <br /> President Hatloe announced that next week's city council meeting will be <br /> held December 30°i due to the New Years Day holiday. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Daniel Deakins,1820 Colby Avenue,brought forth a concern regarding <br /> the treatment of bicyclists at the Everett Station.He requested that the <br /> following quote from the Chainwheel Clatter a publication by the Bikes <br /> Club of Everett,be entered into the record."Everett's new multi-modal <br /> transit center,the Everett Station,at Smith and Pacific is a beautiful <br /> facility.Unfortunately,it has some private security officers who often treat <br /> bicyclists like criminals.
