January 22.2003 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 5:30 <br /> a.m.,January 22,2003,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,Vice President Campbell presiding.Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Anderson and Council Members Krell.Olson,Gipson,Campbell, <br /> Pope and Overstreet were present. Council President Hatloe was <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Krell led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the January 15,2003 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed. <br /> Vice President Campbell congratulated Council Members Pope,Gipson, <br /> and Overstreet and Mayor Anderson for their reappointments to various <br /> National League of Cities'and Association of Washington Cities' <br /> committees. <br /> YOB <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Anderson proclaimed January to through 25,2003 as"DECA <br /> Weak."He presented the proclamation to Elizabeth Bonanno,President <br /> of the Everett High School DECA chapter. <br /> NAVY APPRECIATION DAY <br /> Frank McCord,.5730 Sound Avenue,reported on Navy Appreciation Day, <br /> which was held in the City of Everett on January 20,2003.He remarked <br /> that over 1,000 people attended the event and that it was very successful. <br />•• <br /> • <br /> 11 <br /> fi <br />
