January 29,2003 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> a.m.,January 29,2003,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Habee presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Anderson and Council Members Krell,Olson,Hance,Gipson,Campbell, <br /> and Pope were present.Council Member Overstreet was absent. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the January 22,2003 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed.Council President Hatloe abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br />• <br /> Mayor Anderson recognized Lanie McMullin,who received the Everett <br /> Area Chamber of Commerce president's award and Dale Preboski,who <br /> received a friend of the chamber award. <br /> REPORT <br /> Wayne Wentz,Traffic Engineer,gave a brief report on the conversion of <br /> Wetmore Avenue from one-way to two-way traffic.The conversion will be <br /> in effect from 26"and Wetmore to 37e and Wetmore beginning January <br /> 30,2003. <br /> Tom Hingson, Transportation Services, stated that the two-way <br /> conversion completes the vision of two Transit corridors,Hewitt Avenue, <br /> east and west,and Wetmore,north and south. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> SID AWARD—FOREST PARK SWIM CENTER DUCT <br /> REPLACEMENT MECHANICAL UPGRADE AND CHILLER <br /> REVISION <br /> Moved by Council Member Pope,seconded by Council Member <br /> Campbell that the contract for the Forest Perk Swim Center Duct <br /> • <br /> 23 <br />
