Upon roll call if was found that Mayor <br /> Anderson and Council Members Krell,Olson,Hatloe,Gipson,Pope and <br /> Overstreet were present.Council Member Campbell was excused. <br /> Council Member Olson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the April 30,2003 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Anderson proclaimed the month of May,2003 as"Older <br /> Americans'Month'end the week of May 12 through 16,2003 as"Senior <br /> Center Week'.Jerry Hebert accepted the proclamation on behalf of the <br /> Senior Center. <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Anderson proclaimed May 8,2003 as'Everett Elks'Youth <br /> Recognition Day'.Bill Benson accepted the proclamation. <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Anderson read a proclamation announcing that the City of Everett <br /> celebrates and honors the thousands of sailors aboard the USS Abraham <br /> Lincoln for their heroism.hard work and dedication to this community and <br /> country. <br /> Kate Reardon.Administration.gave a brief update on the plans for the <br /> USS Abraham Lincoln homecoming parade scheduled for Saturday,May <br /> 10,2003. <br /> • <br /> "....saouau .us.a eepy{I <br />
