June 11,2003 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council wee called to order at 830 <br /> m.,June 11,2003,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Hague presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Council <br /> Members Olson,Notice,Gipson,Campbell,Pope and Overstreet were <br /> present.Mayor Anderson and Council Member Krell were excused. <br /> Council Member Campbell led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the June 4,2003 CityCouncil meeting were approved as <br /> printed.Council Member Pope abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Arlington Mayor Bob Kraski,Chair,Community Transit Board,read a letter <br /> expressing concern regarding the City of Everett's notification to terminate <br /> their agreement with Community Transit for Customer Information <br /> Services. <br /> OUNCIL <br /> Council Member Pope reported on his attendance at the National League <br /> of Cities'Transportation Infrastructure Steering Committee and the <br /> Washington State Transportation Commission meeting. <br /> Council Member Olson reported on his attendance at the South Forest <br /> Park Neighborhood meeting. <br /> Council Member Overstreet commented on the parking situation around <br /> Everett Community College and requested that Administration look into 8 <br /> and report back in a few weeks. <br /> Council Member Campbell reported on his attendance at the dedication of <br /> Fire Station No.S and their grand opening celebration. <br /> President Halos announced that agenda item no.2,a proposed <br /> ordinance amending the City's licensing code for regulation of hotels and <br /> motels,has been pulled from today's agenda. <br /> 174 <br />
