Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Anderson and Council M-.mbers Krell,Olson,Hadoe,Gipson,Campbell, <br /> Pope,and Overstreet were present. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the August 6,2003 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as primed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Anderson announced that over 800 membem of the Pacific <br /> Northwest ShdnersAssociation are in town for their annual three-day <br /> convention. <br /> WORK PLAN UPDATE <br /> Mayor Anderson presented a six-month update regarding the City's 2003 <br /> Workplan.He discussed public safety,community and economic vitality, <br /> optimal City service delivery,community-oriented government.and high- <br /> quality infrastructure. <br /> CRIME FREE RENTAL HOUSING PROGRAM <br /> Steve Faaton,Police,gave a brief slide presentation regarding the City of <br /> Evareti's Crime Free Rental Housing Program. <br />• <br /> COUNCIL <br />• <br /> Council Member Gipson stated thathe would like to see the City of <br /> Everett sponsor a variety of events in addition to Salty Sea Days.
