October 1,2003 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order al 6:30 <br /> a.m..October 1,2003,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President HaBoe presiding.Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Anderson and Council Members Krell,Olson,Hatloe,Gipson,Campbell, <br /> Pope and Overstreet were present <br /> Council Member Pope led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the September 24,2003 City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYA <br /> PRESENTATION—CHRISTMAS HOUSE <br /> Marc Nysether gave a beef history of Christmas House and explained <br /> what B provides to the community. <br /> Mayor Anderson reported on his attendance at the open house for the <br /> Special Events Center,a ribbon cutting for the Blues Brother roan's store <br /> at Hewitt and Wetmore,and the Second Baptist Church's 101' <br /> anniversary celebration. <br />• <br /> CITY COUNCII <br /> The council members commented on their attendance at the open house <br /> for the Special Events Center and commanded City staff for their <br /> contributions to the facility. <br /> Council Member Pope reported on his attendance at the National League <br /> of Cities'Infrastructure Transportation Committee meeting.He reminded <br /> everyone of the upcoming budget hearings. <br /> Council Member Gipson stated that he attended an SBX celebration and <br /> the Second Baptist Church's 1010 anniversary celebration. <br /> • <br /> 316 <br />
