November 26,2003 <br /> Council Member Olson,on behalf of the Everett Mutual Sports <br /> Commission,reported on the success of the WIAA 3A and 4A Gids <br /> Volleyball Tournament which was held at the Special Events Center. <br /> Council Member Gipson questioned whether Council Member Olson,as <br /> liaison to the Public Facilities District Board,could request that the hours <br /> for open skating at the Special Events Center be adjusted to <br /> accommodate families and children. <br /> Council Member Krell reported on her attendance at a reception for the <br /> Everett Public School District's new certified staff.She also attended the <br /> Cultural Commission's annual Dick Wendt award ceremony. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Seine reminded everyone that next week's City Council <br /> meeting,December 3,2003,will be an evening meeting.He requested <br /> an executive session regarding two real estate matters. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Larry Crawford,Administration,in response to Sharon Nelson's comments <br /> at last week's Council meeting,explained the City of E_verett's procedure <br /> regarding the leaning of catch basins.He remarked that the catch basin <br /> in question has now been leaned and replaced. <br /> He stated that he had also met with City staff regarding Council Member <br /> Gipson's concerns about the lack of drop off areas for the Special Event <br /> Center. Improvements will be made to the handicap drop off areas as <br /> well as those for the general public. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS <br /> Moved by Council Member Campbell,seconded by Council Member <br /> Gipson to approve the following consent agenda items: <br /> DOD <br />
