December 3,2003 <br /> Ralph Mackey,Senior Center,thanked the Everett firefighters and their <br /> families for providing Thanksgiving Dinner to 600 seniors on November <br /> 23,2001 He remarked that the Everett Police Department will be <br /> sponsoring a Christmas Party for seniors on December 7,2003. <br /> Council Member Notice reported that he also attended a ribbon cutting for <br /> the grand opening of the Chamber of Commerce at the Special Events <br /> Center. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attomey Seine requested an executive session regarding a potential <br /> litigation matter. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Michelle Hoverter,P.O.Box 2635,spoke regarding artwork for the <br /> freeway wall which will be erected when the HOV lane is expanded <br /> through Everett,CAA Crawford's response regarding catch basins,end <br /> Council Member Campbell's remarks regarding the Growth Management <br /> Hearing Board's decision on the Shoreline Master Program. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Olson to approve the following consent agenda.tams: <br /> RESOLUTION—CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.5408 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett In the amount of <br /> $4,483,386.89 for the period of November 15,2003 through November <br /> 21,2003. <br />
