December 24.2003 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 0:30 a.m.,December 24.2003 in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> Everett City Hall,President Hatloe presiding.Upon mil call 2 was found <br /> that Mayor Stephenson;Council Members Krell„Olson,Hatloe,Gipson, <br /> Campbell,Pope and Overstreet were present <br /> Council Member Pope led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the December 17,2003 City Council meeting were <br />• <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephenson stated that he presided over the proceedings for the <br /> Sounder train's first trip from the Everett Station on Sunday. <br /> APPOINTMENTS/REAPPOINTMENTS <br /> Civil Service Commission <br /> Moved by Council Member Overstreet,seconded by Council Member <br /> Olson to concur with the appointment of Mark Welker to Position <br /> No.3,Civil Service Commission,fora six-year term,beginning <br /> January 1,2004 and ending December 31,2009. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Gipson who abstained. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Board of Park Commissioners <br /> Moved by Council Member Krell,seconded by Council Member Olson <br /> to concur with the reappolntment of Richard Wendt to Position No.4, <br /> 429 <br />
