March 17,2004 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was celled to order at 7:00 <br /> p.m.,March 17,2004,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Hatloe presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Meyer <br /> Stephenson;Council Members Krell,Olson,Hetice,Gipson,Campbell, <br /> Stonecipher,and Overstreet were present. <br /> Council Member Olson led the Pledge o:Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the March 10,2004 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed.Council Member Gipson abstained from the vote. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> • <br /> ROLLING STREET CLOSURE <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member Krell <br /> to authorize a rolling street closure beginning at the Special Event <br /> Center at Hewitt and Broadway,traveling north on Broadway to <br /> Everett Avenue,west to Colby,south to Wall Street,and east to the <br /> Special Events Center fora pep rally for the Everett Sllvertips hockey <br /> team on March 18,2004,at 12 p.m. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> • <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Council Member Krell reported on her attendance ata reception in honor <br /> on Bernie Webber and his"artist of the year art show at the Monte Cristo <br /> Ballroom. <br /> Council Members Overstreet and Stonecipher reported on their <br /> attendance at the National League of Cities Conference in Washington, <br /> D.C. <br /> l9 <br />
