March 17,2004 <br /> BIO CALL <br /> To author'se a cantor bids for repair of the crosstown pipeline lining. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> RESOLUTION.NIGHT COUNCIL MEETINGS <br /> Moved by Council Member Jlson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to adopt Resolution No.5453 changing the regularly <br /> scheduled meetings of the Everett City Council to a <br /> summer <br /> schedule from April 1 through September 30,to hold one night <br /> meeRng each month beginning at 6:30 p.m.,and a winter schedule <br /> from October I through March 31,to hold two night meetings each <br /> month beginning at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Council Member Olsor requested that his motion include a change to the <br /> verbiage to indicate that the night meetings will be held on the first and <br /> third Wednesdays of each month instead of the third and fourth. <br /> Tom Pease,2323 Melvin Avenue;Mark Nagel,3315 Federal Avenue; <br /> Mary Jane Anderson,1410 Grand;Ted Trapanier,1420 Grand;Greg <br /> Rielly.1516 Rucker;and Michelle Hoverter,5502 S.2n°,spoke in favor of <br /> additional night City Council meetings.They remarked that the proposed <br /> resolution falls shod in understanding end addressing the needs of public <br /> involvement in City issues and encouraged the City Council to vote no. <br /> Moved by Council Member Overstreet to a end the motion by <br /> striking all wording pertaining to a winter/summer split schedule arid <br /> to have two night meetings per month during the entire year. <br /> Motion failed for lack of second <br /> 81 <br />
