Upon roll call it was <br /> s found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson; Council Members Krell, Fictive, Gipson, Campbell, <br /> Stonedpher,and Overstreet were present Council Member Olson was <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the May 12,2004 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed.Council Member Campbell abstained from the vote. <br /> • <br /> MAYOR <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Stephenson proclaimed May 24 through May 30,2004 as"Native <br /> Plant Appreciation Week:' He presented the proclamation to Donna <br /> Glersner,Washington Native Plant Society. <br /> BUDGET UPDATE <br /> Debra Bryant,Finance,gave a brief budget update. She discussed the <br /> 2003 results of operations, the 2004 year-to-date revenue and <br /> expenditure reports,and announced the 2005 budget kick-off. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Members Gipson and Krell thanked the Mayor for the budget <br /> update. <br /> Council Member Krell reported on her attendance at an open house held <br /> at Silver Lake Elementary School with the Washington State Department <br /> of Transportation and the contractor regarding the upcoming SR 527 <br /> Widening project <br /> 160 <br />
