May26,2004 <br /> Dale Preboski,Beyond the Blue,2831 Wetmore,spoke in opposition to <br /> the proposed street closure.She remarked that Sunday Is a busy retail <br /> day for her and the closure keeps customers from reaching her store. <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Krell to amend the motion to make the following changes to the <br /> street closure for the Controlled Cruise;eliminate the cIosure of <br /> Wetmore, change the closure on Hewitt to Oakes instead of <br /> Broadway,change the time to 2:30 p.m.to 7 p.m.,and approve the <br /> event for May 30,2004 only. <br /> Roll was called on the amendment with all council members voting yes <br /> except Council Member Overstreet who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher requested that City staff work with Dale <br /> Preboski to provide signage on Broadway with directions for her <br /> customers. <br /> Moved by Council Member Campbell,seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher to approve the motion as amended. <br /> Roll was <br /> called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> MemberOverstreet who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> ANTENNA SITE LICENSE <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher to authorize the Mayor or his de lgnee to sign a <br /> communications antenna site license with the Snohomish County <br /> Emergency Radio System to provide Police officers access to <br /> information on the Police intranet from their patrol cars. <br /> 172 <br />
