July 7,2004 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m.,July 7,2004,In the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hell, <br /> President Hatloe presiding. Upon roll call It was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson:Council Members Krell,Olson,Hatloe,Gipson,Stoneclpher, <br /> and Overstreet were present.Council Member Campbell was excused. <br /> Mayor Stephenson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the July 2,2004 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. Council Members Hatloe and Stonecipher abstained from the <br /> vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> APPOINTMENT <br /> Fire Chief Gordon Introduced Ed Oas newly appointed Assistant Fire <br /> Chfel. <br /> CONCIERGE SERVICE <br /> Karen Shaw,Administration,announced that Global Spectrum 0411 be <br /> providing concierge service for visitors and residents of the City of Everett <br /> at the Special Event Center. <br /> Mayor Stephenson announced that Jetty Island Days opens today end <br /> that the Music on the Waterfront series begins tomorrow. <br /> COOL <br /> Council Member Olson remarked that the Everett Special Events Center <br /> was ranked second in the world on total gross sales by"Venues Today," <br /> an entertainment venue Industry puhlication.He commented that Judge <br /> Charles French had passed away. <br /> 212 <br />
