He stated that he will be <br /> moving to Nebraska to work as president of an economic development <br /> corporation. <br /> The council members wished retiring Deputy Police Chief Bob Stiles and <br /> Council Member Campbell good luck in their new ventures. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles requested an executive session regarding a litigation <br /> matter. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Jason Call, 34t5 Rockefeller, spoke in opposition to the Ten <br /> Commandments monument lawsuit. <br /> Gayle Chism,4601 S.4"Avenue,commended retiring Deputy Police <br /> Chief Bob Stiles for his work at the City of Everett. <br /> Sue Ann Roberts,4523 S.4"Avenue,requested that the City Council <br /> consider approval of a special event application for a Lowell Days parade <br /> which she submitted too late to be processed through normal channels. <br /> Council Member Krell offered to expedite the approval process so that it <br /> ran be placed on the August 4,2004 City Council agenda. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS <br /> Moved by Council Member Overstreet,seconded by Council Member <br /> Campbell to approve the following consent agenda items: <br /> 239 <br />
