August 11,2004 <br /> PUBLIC EARING—MOTORIZED FOOT OOT'SA DOT.R <br /> WW EELED RECREATIONAL DEVICES <br /> President Hetloe opened a public hearing regarding Council Bill No.0407- <br /> 38,a proposed ordinance relating to Motorized Foot Scooters and other <br /> Wheeled Recreational Devices,adding a new chapter to the Everett <br /> Traffic Code,Title 46 of the Everett Municipal Code. <br /> President Hetloe Invited public comment.There was no response. <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to close the public hearing. <br /> Rall was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carded. <br /> COUNCIL BILL NO.0407-38 <br /> THIRD AND FINAL READINGS: <br /> AN ORDINANCE relating to Motorized Foot Scooters and other <br /> Wheeled Recreational Devices,adding a new chapter to the <br /> Everett Traffic Code,Title 46 of the Everett Municipal Code <br /> Moved by Council Member Krell,seconded by Council Member Campbell <br /> that this is declared to be the third and final reading of Council Bill No. <br /> 0407-36. <br /> Moved by Council Member Campbell,seconded by Council Member <br /> Olson to amend the verbiage in Section 4B to read,"Motorized foot <br /> scooters and other wheeled recreational devices may not be <br /> operated at any time from sunset to sunrise." <br /> 261 <br />
