• <br /> December 29.2004 <br /> PUBLIC HEARING—C.B.0412-68 <br /> President Hatloe opened a public hearing relating to Council Bill No. <br /> 041268 regarding a proposed ordinance amending the moratorium <br /> relating to adult retail business uses,Ordinance No.2776-04,by <br /> extending the moratorium for en additional six months. <br /> City Attorney Iles explained that this proposed ordinance would extend the <br /> moratorium relating to adult retail businesses for en additional six months. <br /> The Planning Commission has held two workshops and a public hearing. <br /> The additional preparation time is necessary for staff. <br /> Gordy Lindstrom,8925 West Mall Drive,spoke in supped of the octension <br /> of the moratorium. He also spoke in support of Spokane's Planning <br /> Commission findings regarding negative Impale. <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to close the public hearing. • <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL BILL NO.0412-68 <br /> SECOND.THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the moratorium relating to adult <br /> retail business uses,Ordinance No.2776.04,by extending the <br /> moratorium for an additional six months <br /> 416 <br />
