r <br /> March 16,2005 <br /> Mayor Stephenson urged the City Council to give their unanimous support <br /> for the amendment to the Comprehensive Plan and the associated <br /> changes necessary to the historical designation. <br /> RESOLUTION—AMENDMENT/COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MAP <br /> DESIGNATION AND REZONE/HOSPITAL AREA <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,s onded by Council Member <br /> Halloo to adopt Resolution No.5594 approving:(1)an amendment to <br /> the Comprehensive Plan Map Designation from Single Family(1.3)to <br /> Hospital(2.4)in the subject expansion area with conditions,and(2)a <br /> rezone from R-2(Single Family)to 8-2-I(Institution)for the entire <br /> area designated Hospital(2.4)area. <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,se onded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher to amend the motion to incorporate the hospital's <br /> proposed language into Section 2,part 1,sentence 2,of the <br /> resolution with the deletion of"prior to installation of the amenities," <br /> and the insertion of"...upon design approval by the City for the first <br /> PEMC structure on Block 248"and sentence 4,with the deletion of <br /> and opened to the public before"and the insertion of"at the same <br /> time as"any other PEMC use of black 248 is initiated"and the public <br /> space shall be available for use upon prompt completion." <br />• <br /> Roll was called on the amendment with all council members voting yes <br /> except Council Member Gipson who voted no. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Moved by Council Member Stonecipher,seconded by Council <br /> Member Olson to amend the motif. to Include language for the <br /> creation of a design review committee for the Institutional Overlay. <br /> This committee would have review authority to work with the <br /> hospital on the designs of their expansion plans including buildings, <br /> bufferllandscaps areas and streetscapes along 131°and 14.Streets. <br /> fit <br />
