May 18,2005 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> Km.,May 18.2005,In the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Krell presiding. Upon roll call it wee found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson;Council Members Krell,Olson,Hattoe,Nielsen,Stonecipher, <br /> and Overstreet were present.Council Member Gipson was excused. <br /> Mayor Stephenson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the May 11,2005 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Stephenson proclaimed the week of May 21-27,2005 as`National <br /> Safe Boating Week.° He presented the proclamation to Dennis Moms, <br /> District Commander,United States Power Squadron. <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Hatloe reported on his attendance at the APTA <br /> (American Public Transportation Association)2005 Expo. <br /> Council Member Overstreet stated that he was pleased with the editorial <br /> In the Herald regarding Pat McClain and his work with the base closure <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Greg Benson, 1522 Rainier,co-chair, Delta Neighborhood, spoke <br /> regarding the importance of City funding for their annual neighbshoed <br /> cleanups. <br /> 143 <br />
